It's Tuesday! That means it's time for the second edition of our new Tuesday Tips series! In case you didn't hear last week, every week on (you guessed it!) Tuesday, we'll be posting a new blog that gives you a detailed wedding planning tip!

This week's tip: hire a wedding planner! Sounds funny, right? A wedding planner telling you to hire a planner (and throwing in that you should totally hire us)! Seriously, though, even if you don't hire us, hire someone! And no, we don't mean get Aunt Sally to coordinate your day. She may be the most organized person you know, and may have attended a wedding or two, but that doesn't mean she's going to know what to do when your dress rips or your florist went to the wrong venue (and yes, both of these things have happened to us).

They'll help you find the right vendors to fit your style, personality, and budget, and probably come up with ideas that will keep you from pulling your hair out over that DIY-Pinterest-project-gone-wrong. A planner will know the best vendors to work with, and the best vendors that will really mesh with your personality. These connections come from years of experience working with other vendors. You wouldn't want Aunt Sally treating you when you're sick right? No! You would go to your doctor, so find a wedding planner to take care of all the details of your special day.


Weddings are stressful.

Of course it's the happiest day of your life, but that doesn't mean it came without some bumps and bruises along the way. You deal with the family drama, but let a planner handle finding the right DJ, figuring our where to put the ice sculpture your mother-in-law insisted on, and those last minute details and emergencies.
